Astrology

The planets are in alignment. Who can say
that doesn’t affect us somehow? If an atom here
can be bonded at once with one far off,
why shouldn’t the taut energy of synchronicity
touch our lives too? Stars above! Once
the world looked out to see its fate
written large in the sky. Now, we could go
to the ends of the universe and only find ourselves
returning home again. The world has become larger,
and all the flaws are exaggerated by proximity.
